ARCH (Area Residents Caring & Helping) is a community coalition established in 1981 by parents and other community members to assist, educate and support one another in dealing with substance use and abuse by youth. We are actively working to keep kids alcohol and drug free.
(Tredyffrin & Easttown Townships, Chester County, Pennsylvania)

2007-2008 Initiatives: ARCH is planning to address the issue of underage drinking:

  • By implementing an alcohol abuse prevention program based on the principles of social norming, a research-based approach with proven efficacy.

  • By hosting two programs, with professional speakers/ trainers, specifically geared for parents, to provide information and skills in parenting for prevention.

Want to Plan a Party for your Teen and hardly know where to start?
Tom Hagy, a parent of a teen in our area, shares his proven strategy for having a successful party for teenagers.
